AO-3052 is a multifunctional antioxidant. It contains 2-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-6-[(3-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-2-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl]methyl-4-methylphenyl acrylate. It is non-staining, non- discoloring, hindered phenolic antioxidant containing a moiety of deactivating alkyl radicals.

Applications

AO-3052 is a multifunctional antioxidant for organic polymers, such as thermoplastics, elastomers and adhesives. It is a non-staining, non-coloring, hindered phenolic antioxidant containing moiety capable of Deactivating alky| radicals. It is stable to heat and light, has a low volatility, and is resistant to extraction. It protects organic substrates against both thermo-oxidative and purely thermal degradation.
